Biography

Born in 1987 in Constantine, Youcef Krache lives and works in Algiers. A self-taught photographer, he obtained a degree from the National Superior School of Tourism. His photographs are often concerned with spaces, landscapes and urban characters. He has exhibited his work in Algiers, Tunis, at the Dakar Biennale OFF, at the Rencontres internationales of Bamako, in Paris, Berlin and in the Western Sahara. He has also worked as a Director of Photography in movies for the Algerian directors Djamil Beloucif and Abdelghani Raoui.
