As a collective of bboys (break-dancers), the need for a camera arose to document to their dance journey. The responsibility fell on him, marking the genesis of his photography venture. Born in 1995 in Jijel, he proudly represents Algerian photography and an active member of the esteemed collective, 220. With his roots deeply embedded in the street, where his dance journey began, his initial foray into photography naturally gravitated towards capturing the essence of street life. As time passed, a stronger calling prompted him to adopt a more narrative-driven approach, one that seeks to unravel the enduring impact of the evolving social landscape. In many ways, his body of work is a reflection of his own identity and heritage, serving as a visual chronicle of who he is and the place that fuels his creativity.
