Biography

Samuel Nja Kwa is a contemporary artist. Samuel Nja Kwa is a french male artist born in Paris (FR) in 1964. Samuel Nja Kwa’s first verified exhibition was Dak’Art 2008 – 8th Biennale of African Contemporary Art at Dak’Art Biennale de l’art africain contemporain in Dakar in 2008, and the most recent exhibition was 13th Rencontres De Bamako – Biennale Africaine De La Photographie at Musée National du Mali in Bamako in 2022. Samuel Nja Kwa is most frequently exhibited in Cameroon, but also had exhibitions in Mali, Senegal. Nja Kwa has at least no solo shows but one group show over the last 14 years (for more information, see biography). Nja Kwa has also been in no less than no art fairs but in two biennials. A notable show was Dak’Art 2008 – 8th Biennale of African Contemporary Art at Dak’Art Biennale de l’art africain contemporain in Dakar in 2008. Other notable shows were at Rencontres de Bamako – Biennale Africaine de la photographie in Bamako and Bandjoun Station in Bandjoun. Samuel Nja Kwa has been exhibited with Stephan Balkenhol and Jannis Kounellis. Samuel Nja Kwa is ranked among the Top 1,000,000 globally, and among the Top 10,000 in France.
