Biography

Nandala Mathew’s expertise derives from his years of training as a dance teacher and Afro Fusion choreographer for solo and group performances both in Uganda and China. Associating himself as an ‘all styles dancer’, Nandala’s choreographies celebrate the versatility of African dance styles whilst fusing steps with hiphop, popping and house. Starting off as a solo dancer, Nandala joined Ugandan dance group, The Invincible Dance Unit (IDU), in 2011. In 2019 Nandala left IDU to pursue his own solo dance career.
