Biography

Plastician Artist by vocation, issued from a cultivated family, gifted in the domain of art. She initiated her childhood by using pencil then watercolor up till trying oil-panting which had impressed her in her secondary studies at the 80’s. After having her bachelor in Mathematics, she joined the dental specialty, the discipline which didn’t lack artistic affinity and occurrence, sculpting necessitates more patience but he showed much more success, this has allowed her making many forms calling sculpting as an art. Nevertheless, her personal interest has tended particularly to painting. Her first expositions took place during her years of studies (1983-198..) many national and international artistic demonstrations took place successively.

2006- 2nd National Lounge of Plastic Arts in Biskra; 2007- National exposition at Racism’s Gallery, Algiers, (Woman’s Day occasion); 2007- National exposition in Cherchell; 2007- National Lounge of the Creative Woman, in Setif ;2007 – Cultural week of Algeria in Saudi Arabia. 2007- Sculpting Lounge, which bear the slogan of “The beauty of my city” in Setif. 2007- Cultural week of Batna in Algiers, at the occasion of “ Algeria an Arab Capital”; 2007- Exposition at “ Thevest” Gallery, Algiers. 2007- Plastic Arts exposition at the Faculty of Medicine in Constantine parallel to the Algero-Franco medical seminar about (haemophilia); 2007- National lounge in Djelfa. The Themes to which the artist is interested are traditional. At present, her works lean over scientific achievements such as ‘dental abscess”, “the 6th tooth”, “gonocoque batcerium”… Future project: Publishing medical books
