Biography

C. Sawas is a contemporary sculptor based in Morocco. His aesthetic sense is refined and his creations serve as a vector for his search for identity, in an approach of anthropological creation. Lover of an ethic of primitive naturalism and figurative arts, it is towards the Raku technique with its immense creative potential that she turns. The power of the earth, the ancestral gesture never ceases to fascinate her. She finds herself between the organic and the mineral, in a powerful alchemical process, and constantly experiments in order to leave a human trace, a tangible emotion and in order to transcribe authenticity and accuracy in the expression of forms.
