Biography

Bâaziz Hammache , bornApril 2, 1956in Bouzguen in the current wilaya of Tizi Ouzou , is an Algerian visual artist. In 1976, he entered the Higher School of Fine Arts of Algiers. After two years of common core in general artistic studies, he moved to the painting section. At the end of the 3rd year , the artist discovers his own style. This encouraged him to enroll on his own at the Marseille School of Fine Arts (Luminy) in 1979-1980, an establishment which he discovered a year earlier on the advice of his sculpture teacher François Bouché . He graduated from this school.. He returned to Algeria in 1984 1 . The same year, he participated with other people in the inauguration of the central army museum ( Riadh El Feth ), creating busts of Ahmed Bey and Si Houès. He stayed at the Villa Abd-el-Tif in Algiers throughout the period of work (1984-1990) sculptors: 1-madjid moula, 2-khoudir boulaine, 3-baaziz hammache, 4-belkacem boufersaoui at the school of fine arts of Algiers In 1987. He is a member of the national council of the association of friends of the school of fine arts of Azazga , in 1990 then president of the Mohand Oulhadj cultural association from 1994 to 1999. Since 1997, he has been a member of UNAC (National Union of Cultural Arts). Since 2012, he has been a member of the National Council of Arts and Letters (CNAL).
