Aminatta Forna, OBE, is a Scottish and Sierra Leonean writer. She is the author of a memoir, The Devil That Danced on the Water: A Daughter’s Quest, and four novels: Ancestor Stones, The Memory of Love, The Hired Man and Happiness.
